Book round-up

A quick book review round-up:

PANIC:The Story of Modern Financial Insanity, edited by Michael Lewis, is reviewed in today's New York Times, as is THE ASCENT OF MONEY: A Financial History of the World by Niall Ferguson. SOME OF IT WAS FUN Working With RFK and LBJ by Nicholas deB. Katzenbach is briefly noted.
The Philadelphia Inquirer reviews Black Philosopher, White Academy: The Career of William Fontaine by Bruce Kuklick.

SAMUEL JOHNSON: A Biography by Peter Martin and SAMUEL JOHNSON: The Struggle by Jeffrey Meyers are reviewed together in the Washington Post. Samuel Johnson: The Struggle by Meyers is also taken up in the Los Angeles Times, as is Chaplin: A Life by Stephen Weissman.
