CFP: Toronto Group for International, Transnational and Comparative Law

The Toronto Group for International, Transnational and Comparative Law is holding its Third Annual Conference in Toronto January 29-31, 2010, entitled "Concerning States of Mind, Disturbing the Minds of States", and loosely themed around a renewed focus on historicism in international and transnational legal scholarship.

The principal aim of this conference is to encourage critical inquiry and collaborative discussion among graduate students and junior faculty members, providing a forum in which to explore the work at play in various projects aimed at historicizing and redefining international, transnational, and comparative law and legal scholarship.

Keynote speakers will include Martti Koskenniemi, Academy Professor, University of Helsinki.

The abstract submission deadline is Oct.19th, 2009. Please see the call for papers for additional submission details and contact information, and note that presenters at the Conference will have the opportunity to publish their papers with the Comparative Research in Law and Political Economy Paper series (CLPE).

If I am reading it correctly, your Call for Papers notice lists the date of the third conference as being in January 2009, rather than 2010 as you intend.

Thanks for pointing that out. They seem to have a typo on their website. If you download the pdf of the call for papers via the link on the website, you'll find the correct date (Jan. 2010) on that version.
