U.K. Legislation on the Web, 1267-Present

Blog readers may be interested to know of a new website managed by the National Archives in the United Kingdom:
http://www.legislation.gov.uk
The site, launched last week, contains U.K. legislation, 1267 to the present, and is fully searchable.

Unfortunately, the database does not appear to contain any (or most) laws that had been repealed before 1991. So many old statutes do not appear. It really seems to be more of a "statutes in force" website.

Still the site is fascinating. I've been reading the Statute forbidding the Bearing of Armour (1313)!
