Muller v. Oregon: 100 Years Later


The National Consumers League will hold the Muller v. Oregon Memorial Conference at the Georgetown University Law Center on June 25. The first of the day's panels is devoted to the "Historical Context, Key Players, and Impact on Wage and Hour and Other Job Protections for Workers" of the decision. Robin Muncy of the the University of Maryland, College Park, moderates. The panelists are Kathryn Kish Sklar (Binghamton University), Landon Storrs (University of Houston), and Philippa Strum (United States Studies Program, Woodrow Wilson Center). Speakers at later panels include Congresswoman Linda Sanchez and lawyers and officials from a number of agencies, public interest law firms, unions and other organizations.
