The University of California, Santa Barbara has a website for The American Presidency Project with a nifty search engine if you are looking for public presidential documents online. The University of Virginia's Miller Center of Public Affairs has an ongoing multimedia project involving presidents. Its site contains several links to useful resources.Image credit.
Thanks for this. An especially valuable part of the website it that they have uploaded The Public Papers of the Presidents:
ReplyDeleteHoover to Bush (1929-1993), and The Weekly Compilation of Presidential Documents:
Clinton - Obama (1993-2009). When you need an authoritative copy of the text of a speech for research or course use, the site is so much easier to access that the original print Public Papers of the Presidents.
Amen to that!
