Tomiko Brown-Nagin is joining the Legal History Blog as our fourth "regular" blogger. Tomiko is the Justice Thurgood Marshall Distinguished Professor of Law and Professor of History at the University of Virginia. Her first book, Courage to Dissent: Atlanta and the Long History of the Civil Rights Movement, was published in January by Oxford University Press. Tomiko's next book is “The Only Woman in the Courtroom”: Constance Baker Motley and Twentieth- Century Struggles for Equality.
