Weekend Round-Up

  • Entries in an originalist debate between Zephyr Teachout and Seth Barrett Tillman over political corruption and the Foreign Emoluments Clause are here and here.
  • In case you missed it, "Benched," Jill Lepore's article in the latest New Yorker on the history of the U.S. Supreme Court, is here.
  •  Janet Lindenmuth, a reference librarian at Widener, has posted a Pinterest page of images on the legal history of Delaware, mostly from Delaware’s Public Archives and the Library of Congress.  Check out especially the mobile jail for speeders and jaywalkers.  We’d be happy to note similar pages for other jurisdictions or the federal courts should they be compiled.  Hat tip.
The Weekend Roundup is a weekly feature compiled by all the Legal History bloggers.
