Clara Altman on
her appointment as Deputy Director of the Federal Judicial Center (“the research and education agency of the federal courts”). A search has commenced to replace her as director of the
Federal Judicial History Office. The director “is responsible for developing and carrying out programs in furtherance of the Center’s statutory mission to ‘conduct, coordinate, and encourage programs relating to the history of the judicial branch of the United States government.’” The announcement for the directorship is
