Forensic History and J. Edgar Hoover at the Miller Center

I've previously noted that the Miller Center for Public Affairs at the University of Virginia have posted MP3 files of the colloquia of the Center's Governing American in a Global Era. I've been listening to Christian McMillen's session on January 23, which focuses on the challenges of serving as an expert witness in Native American cases and draws upon insights from his prizewinning book, Making Indian Law. Risa Goluboff, University of Virginia Law School, got things going with a very acute comment.

I'm looking forward to listening to the February 6 session on Beverly Gage's Rethinking J. Edgar Hoover: Conservative Power in a Liberal Age, which has just been posted.
