Pulitzer to Foner

Eric Foner has been awarded the Pulitzer Prize in History for The Fiery Trial: Abraham Lincoln and American Slavery.

Other winners:   Washington: A Life, by Ron Chernow, for Biography, and The Emperor of All Maladies: A Biography of Cancer,” by Siddhartha Mukherjee, for General Nonfiction. The full list is here.
