Special Issue on Islam in NYT Book Review

The New York Times Sunday Book Review section has a special issue on Islam today, including reviews of GOD’S CRUCIBLE: Islam and the Making of Europe, 570 to 1215, by David Levering Lewis (W.W. Norton & Company), NAPOLEON’S EGYPT: Invading the Middle East by Juan Cole (Palgrave Macmillan) and ISLAMOPHOBIA: Making Muslims the Enemy, by Peter Gottschalk and Gabriel Greenberg (Rowman & Littlefield Publishers), and two memoirs, PRISONER OF TEHRAN: A Memoir by Marina Nemat (Free Press) and MY LIFE AS A TRAITOR by Zarah Ghahramani with Robert Hillman (Farrar, Straus & Giroux).
