Cromwell Research Fellowships: Deadline July 15

[And, while we are at it, here is a reminder that the deadline for the Cromwell Research Fellowship is less than a month away.]

Note the July 15, 2013 deadline for the Cromwell Research Fellowships in American Legal History. These are annual awards of up to $5000 made to dissertators and scholars in the early stages of their careers to support research and writing. Applicants should submit a description of their proposed project (double-spaced, maximum 6 pages, with working title), a budget, a timeline, and a short c.v. (no longer than 3 pages.  Two letters of recommendation from academic referees should be sent directly to the committee chair via email attachment. Applications must be submitted electronically (preferably in one .pdf file) to the committee chair, Cornelia H. Dayton.  Notification of the awards occurs in early November.
