On Thursday, January 28 at 2:00PM EST, join Foreign Legal Specialist, Nicolas Boring, for a new entry in our Foreign and Comparative Law Webinar Series. This entry in the series will discuss the French Civil Code. The French Civil Code, which Napoleon Bonaparte introduced in 1804, has had an enduring impact on the legal world, not just in France but throughout the world. Boring will discuss the Napoleonic Code’s history, evolutions and legacy in a new installment of the Law Library of Congress’ foreign and comparative law webinar series.
