We note that the opening plenary address is to be delivered by a past president of the American Society for Legal History, Professor Charles Donahue Jr, Harvard Law School: "'The Hypostasis of Prophecy': Legal Realism and Legal History"]
The organising committee is glad to publish the provisional programme, and to announce the opening of booking, for the Twentieth British Legal History Conference, to be held in Cambridge from 13 to 16 July 2011.
1. Provisional programme

2. Booking
Booking and payment for the conference will be online, through the University of Cambridge's eSales facility. A link to the conference's eSales page is also available on the conference web-page at the above address.
The closing date for booking is 31 March 2011, and we would draw your attention to the terms and conditions of booking set out on the eSales page.
Costs are set out in the booking system. In summary they are as follows (all in pounds sterling):
Conference fee (for both residential and non-residential delegates) 105.00. Single en-suite room for three nights bed and breakfast, with dinner on the first night 240.00. Single non-ensuite room for three nights bed and breakfast, with dinner on the first night 170.00. Twin en-suite room for three nights bed and breakfast, with dinner on the first night 207.50 per person.
Conference gala dinner 45.00 for delegates, 54.00 for accompanying non-delegates.
All prices include VAT where it is applicable.
