  • The Berkshire Conference of Women Historians awards two annual book prizes, both for first books. The deadline for submissions is Nov.1, 2016. Full details here
  • CFP: A conference on "Cultural Expertise in socio-legal studies and history" will be held in Oxford, Dec.15-16, 2016. Please submit abstracts (500-1000 words) plus a short bio to Livia Holden by Sept.20, 2016: liviaholden@insightsproduction.net 
  • The Harry Middleton Fellowships in Presidential Studies provide two $5,000 fellowships each year for research at the LBJ Library and at least one other facility of the National Archives and Records Administration. Preference to PhD students. Deadlines are Sept.15 (for spring term) and March 15 (for fall term). Full information is available here.
