New from the FJC: Case Management, Prohibition, and More!

Perhaps like us you have overlooked recent online essays by the historians of the Federal Judicial Center.  The very latest is Jake Kobrick's Civil Case Management in the Federal Courts, which, among other things, provides a useful periodization of the subject.  Other recent essays include The Judiciary Act of 1801, Prohibition in the Federal Courts: A Timeline, Penhallow v. Doane's Administrators, Early Radio in the Federal Courts, Supreme Court Meeting Places and more.
