Casebeer on the At-Will Rule and Fansteel

Kenneth M. Casebeer, University of Miami School of Law, has posted two entries from The Encyclopedia of U.S. Labor and Working-Class History (Routledge, 2007). One treats the history, development, and policy behind the At-Will rule of employment duration and discharge; the other, the history and economic and legal background of the 1939 case finding sit-down strikes to be unprotected conduct under the National Labor Relations Act, National Labor Relations Board v. Fansteel Metallurgical Corp.
