The D.C.-Area Legal History Roundtable will meet on Friday, April 30, 2010, from 12 to 4 p.m. at American University's Washington College of Law (WCL). On the playbill are:
1. “Roscoe Pound and the Administrative State” by Dan Ernst, Georgetown University Law Center, with commentary by James May, WCL
2. “Late Nineteenth Century Judges and Judging” by Renee Lettow Lerner, George Washington University Law School, with commentary by Ross Davies, George Mason University School of Law
3. An informal discussion of two papers by WCL legal historians, Susan Carle’s “A Social Movement History of Title VII Disparate Impact Analysis,” and Lewis Grossman, "A History of the Concept of 'Medical Freedom' in the U.S."
