Over at writenowcoach.com, Christopher L. Tomlins, University of California, Berkeley, is interviewed about his recent book In the Matter of Nat Turner. Perhaps because the site appears to have a readership more of nonfiction writers than scholars, the interview is quite lively, touching upon not just the theoretical underpinnings of the book but what Tomlins is reading now and life while sheltering in place.
