Comparative Legal History Colloquium

Colloquium on Comparative Legal History: The Journal and the Discipline

Comparative Legal History, the journal of the European Society for Comparative Legal History (ESCLH) and a leading publication of its kind, offers an online colloquium on the present and future of this discipline. The following questions will be addressed, amongst others,

• What is comparative legal history and what should it be?

• Should it exist at all, or is all legal history now transnational and global?

• What does it mean to compare?

• How should we further develop the Journal?

• What can we do to enhance the global scope of the Journal?

Shaunnagh Dorsett (Editorial Board of CLH, University of Technology Sydney) and Matthew Dyson (President of the ESCLH, University of Oxford), together with the journal staff, will be discussing these and other exciting questions.

The event is free and open to the public, and it will take place via Zoom, on Wednesday, 10 June 2020, from 10:00-12:00hs (CEST). Registration is required by sending an email to CLHColloquium@gmail.com. (By registering, you will receive the link to the meeting.)
