Book Launches at the Willson Center

Two “new book discussions” on the fall schedule of the United States Studies Program of the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars here in Washington are of special interest to legal historians

Mae Ngai, Professor of History, Columbia University, will present The Lucky Ones: One Family and the Extraordinary Invention of Chinese America, on Friday, September 24, noon to 1:45 p.m.

Samuel Moyn, Professor of History, Columbia University, will present The Last Utopia: Human Rights in History on Monday, October 25, 3:00 – 5:00 p.m.
