Military Justice in "The Federal Lawyer"
Posted by Dan Ernst
The July 2013 issue of The Federal Lawyer (“The premier bar association serving the federal practitioners and the federal judiciary”), available on-line, has two articles of interest on the administration of military justice: The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces Courthouse: A History, by the Honorable Scott W. Stucky, and A History of Extraordinary Relief in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces, by Bradley Richardson. The same issue includes Honoring Our Own: The WWII Veteran Judges of the Eastern District of New York–among them The Honorable Jack B. Weinstein, pictured in his uniform as a lieutenant commander on the submarine USS Jallao.
