Deadline approaches to apply for AHA affiliate session status
The ASLH is accepting proposals for possible sessions at the next American Historical Association conference (to be held in Atlanta, GA, Jan. 7-10, 2016). As an AHA Affiliate, ASLH is able to sponsor sessions at the organization’s annual conference. Affiliate-sponsored sessions convene at the regular conference venues and appear on the AHA program. We are especially interested in sponsoring sessions that examine the history of law across a global landscape, sessions that address the state of the field, and sessions that focus on teaching legal history in a variety of settings, especially undergraduate survey courses. All proposed panelists need to be members of ASLH. Members of ASLH outside the United States are welcome to participate in ASLH-sponsored AHA sessions.
Please submit proposals by May 8, 2015 to Sally Hadden, ASLH Secretary, making sure to include the following information:
Event type (Session, Roundtable)
Title (no more than 20 words)
Optional: One or two sentence session description (up to 100 words), if desired.

Preferred day and timeslot for each event
