LHB Founder Mary L. Dudziak, the Asa Griggs Candler Professor of Law, Emory University, and, this year, a fellow at the Center for Advanced Study in the Behavioral Sciences, Stanford University, has some upcoming speaking engagements. In the Rutgers University Center for Cultural Analysis’s seminar on Totality, she will present, on April 7, War without Violence: Rethinking the Totality of America's World War II. In that same session, Paul Saint-Amour, University of Pennsylvania, will speak on “From Total War to Perpetual Interwar.” The next day the pair will lead a discussion of readings related to war and totality.
On April 17, Professor Dudziak be delivering the keynote lecture (“War without Violence”) in the Duke University History Department’s conference, Framing Violence.
