- For those working on the history of the law of armed conflict and other matters related to war and peace, the theme for the 2012 meeting of the Society for Military History is "The Politics of War." Proposals are due November 1, 2011, and the conference is May 10-13, 2012 in Arlington, VA. Graduate students presenting at the meeting can apply for a travel grant.
