The Legal History Blog welcomes Ken Kersch, Boston College. Ken is an associate professor of political science, history, and law, and the founding director of the Clough Center for the Study of Constitutional Democracy.
He is the author of Constructing Civil Liberties: Discontinuities in the Development of American Constitutional Law (Cambridge University Press, 2004), which won the J. David Greenstone Prize for the best book on politics and history from the American Political Science Association, Politics and History Section in 2006. He co-edited with Ronald Kahn The Supreme Court and American Political Development (University Press of Kansas, 2006). His next book is Forging Constitutional Conservatism: From the Brown Decision to Reagan (under contract,Cambridge University Press).
