The Pardee School of Global Studies at Boston University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in the study of International Law & International Organization beginning July 1, 2020, subject to budget approval. We seek applicants who focus on the impact and uses of international law in any functional areas, including (but not restricted to) human rights, development, diplomacy, security, global environment, international trade and finance, and international organization. We welcome applications from scholars in any relevant discipline, including law, political science, sociology, history, and international relations, and are open to all methodological approaches and regional specializations. Successful candidates would be expected to have completed a Ph.D. by August 15, 2020. The Pardee School of Global Studies is committed to multidisciplinary, policy-relevant research and teaching.
