Connecticut Supreme Court History

To continue an occasional series of posts about legal history conducted at the state level in the United States, I’d like to direct your attention to the website of the Connecticut Supreme Court Historical Society. The Society supports a journal, Connecticut Supreme Court History, and although I don’t believe the articles are available on line, abstracts are. It offers tours of the the state Supreme Court building and has invited scholars to address its annual meeting. (Gordon Wood, Brown University, will be speaking to the Society’s members on “Origins of American Constitutionalism” on May 14 of this year.) In an admirable act of transparency, the Society posts the minutes of its Board of Directors.
