[We have the following announcement from the American Society for Legal History.]
The Mary L. Dudziak Digital Legal History Prize is awarded annually for the best work of digital legal scholarship, broadly defined, appearing in the previous year. The award is designed to recognize outstanding scholarly contributions that may take the form of peer-reviewed publications or purely digital projects. Preference will be given to projects that either (1) have a published component in 2018,( 2) have gone live online in 2018, or (3) have implemented major updates or upgrades in 2018. The cover letter should highlight significant developments in the project during 2018.
Nominations or self-nominations for the Dudziak Prize should be submitted by September 1, 2019 [here]. They should include (1) a cover letter that explains the nature and significance of the work for the field of legal history; (2) the nominated work, including (if relevant) information about how to access the work online; and (3) a curriculum vitae of the author/creator (including e-mail address).
