Rakove to Lecture on the Radicalism of Religious Liberty
The Clough Center for the Study of Constitutional Democracy at Boston College announces “Beyond Belief: The Radical Significance of the Free Exercise of Religion,” a Constitution Day lecture by Jack Rakove. Professor Rakove teaches history and political science at Stanford University. He is the author of six books on early American history. He won a Pulitzer Prize in 1997 for his book Original Meanings. The event, which is free and open to the public, will take place on Thursday, September 15, 2011, at 4:40 pm in Boston College’s McGuinn Hall 121. It is sponsored by the BC Law School Legal History Roundtable, History Department, and Political Science Department.
