The current issue of the Yale Law Journal (June 2014) features essays from its recent symposium, "The Meaning of the Civil Rights Revolution" and may be of interest to many readers. The anniversaries of Brown v. Board of Education, the Civil Rights Act of 1964, and Professor Bruce Ackerman's recently-published book, We the People: The Civil Rights Revolution (2014) served as catalysts for the symposium. In addition to Bruce Ackerman, essayists for the journal issue include Randy Barnett, David Strauss, Sandy Levinson, Tomiko Brown-Nagin, Randall Kennedy, Rogers Smith, Sophia Lee, Kenji Yoshino, Deborah Hellman, John Skrentny, Richard Thompson Ford, Samuel Bagenstos, David Super, Justin Driver, Cary Franklin, Lani Guinier, and Gerald Torres.
