The CLE program and celebration will include the following:
12 p.m. - 1 p.m. A session with Virginia Supreme Court Justice Stephen McCullough on the Continued Relevance of the 1776 Virginia Declaration of Rights to Virginia constitutionalism.
1:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. A session with George Mason University School of Law Professor Joyce Malcolm on the Influence of the Virginia Declaration of Rights on other state constitutions and the United States Constitution.
3:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. A session with Cato Institute Center for Constitutional Studies Research Fellow Trevor Burris on the Continued Relevance of George Mason and the Anti-Federalists.
4:30 - 6:00 p.m. Wine Tasting and tours of George Mason's historic home and estate at Gunston Hall.
6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. Dinner and discussion on the Virginia Declaration of Rights, and a special celebratory toast with George Mason himself!
