Gordon to Lecture on Lawyers as Friends of Democracy
As part of the Law, Culture, and Humanities Initiative of the University of Oregon School of Law, Robert W. Gordon, Stanford Law, is speaking tomorrow on the topic, "Are Lawyers Friends of
Democracy?" According to Oregon Law's announcement, "he will examine why the legal profession’s elite was for
most of American history in the forefront of public life, and why that
