Welcome to David Tanenhaus

David Tanenhaus
The Legal History Blog welcomes David Tanenhaus, Professor and Chair of the History Department at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and the James E. Rogers Professor of History and Law at the William S. Boyd School of Law.  David is well-known to legal historians as Editor of the Law and History Review, the journal of the American Society for Legal History.  

An expert in the history of the constitutional rights of children, David's most recent book is The Constitutional Rights of Children: In re Gault and Juvenile Justice (University Press of Kansas, 2011).  Other works include Juvenile Justice in the Making (Oxford University Press, 2004), a co-edited volume with Margaret K. Rosenheim, Franklin E. Zimring, and Bernardine Dohrn, A Century of Juvenile Justice (University of Chicago, 2002), and many articles and essays.
