Call for LHB Facebook Coordinator

With more blogs making their way onto Facebook, we'd like the Legal History Blog to have a Facebook presence. As with our Twitter feed, this would bring LHB content to a new space on the web. Having limited time for such things, your Legal History Bloggers would like some help from a Facebook-friendly reader.

If you are a Facebook user and you'd like to collaborate with the Legal History Blog, please contact me. We would like someone to set up the page and set up a feed from the blog to Facebook, as well as to explore ways to bring LHB content (in other words: the scholarship of legal historians) to important places on the web where we don't currently have a presence. Most of your time would likely be during the initial set-up, though it would be helpful to have someone involved who could make a commitment to work with us for a certain amount of time, perhaps a year. This would be a good opportunity for a graduate student or any legal historian Facebook user who is interested in more of a professional presence on-line.

If you'd like to do this, please send an e-mail with your cv/resume or a description of your experience and interests as a legal historian, as well as a description of your Facebook experience. Ours will be a scholarly Facebook page, but if your own Facebook page is personal, that's ok since we're looking for someone generally familiar with Facebook's social networking capabilities.
